📝 Aaru raises $50M+

News of the Day

Aaru has raised a Series A of more than $50 million, led by Redpoint Ventures, using an unusual multi-tier valuation structure that let some investors buy in at a $1 billion valuation. In contrast, others paid less, resulting in a blended valuation below unicorn status. The fast-growing startup, still generating under $10 million in ARR, uses AI agents to simulate human behaviour and deliver near-instant customer research, replacing traditional surveys and focus groups with predictive modelling built from public and proprietary data. Founded in 2024 by Cameron Fink, Ned Koh, and John Kessler, Aaru counts Accenture, EY, Interpublic Group, and political campaigns as customers and even accurately forecasted the New York Democratic primary last year, placing it in a competitive field alongside CulturePulse, Simile, Listen Labs, Keplar, and Outset, with earlier backing from A*, Abstract Ventures, General Catalyst, Accenture Ventures, and Z Fellows.
