The firm has been instrumental in scaling startups, from Flipkart’s $4M post-money valuation at its first institutional round to its current worth exceeding $36B, and Swiggy’s seed investment at $2M pre-money, culminating in a landmark $11.3B IPO this year. As Indian tech IPOs gain traction, Accel's strategy of staying integrated with its global operations contrasts with rivals like Sequoia and Matrix, which have spun off their India units.
