Spanish VC firm All Iron Ventures has rebranded as Acurio Ventures and closed a $166 million (€150 million) follow-on investment fund. This fund will focus on equity stakes of 3% to 10% in European tech startups, without leading deals. Acurio has backed companies like Seedtag and Preply and has assets under management worth around €300 million. Co-founded by Ander Michelena, who previously sold Ticketbis to eBay, the firm operates with a unique portfolio model, aiming for quicker DPI returns by exiting earlier rounds.
