News of the Day

Assetflo has raised a $2 million USD seed round to scale its mesh-network-based asset tracking technology that’s already deployed with multiple undisclosed Fortune 500 customers. Founded in 2019 by CTO Elie Makhoul and Noaman Makki, Assetflo builds patented IoT software and hardware that helps enterprises track assets indoors and outdoors by intelligently leveraging existing infrastructure—like Wi-Fi routers—rather than requiring costly new hardware, using machine learning to switch between GPS, RTLS, Bluetooth, and other signals as conditions change. The all-primary round, which closed in August, was led by GreenSky Ventures with participation from existing backers including Geotab and Mega Innovation, bringing total venture funding to roughly $3 million USD alongside $1 million USD in grants, as Assetflo sharpens its go-to-market strategy, deepens its integration within the Geotab ecosystem, and works toward a longer-term vision of “digital floors” and asset-level digital twins that make the physical world fully searchable.
