📝 Beelzebub raises $3.4M
News of the Day
Milan-based cybersecurity startup Beelzebub has raised $3.4 million in seed funding led exclusively by United Ventures, bringing its total funding to $3.8 million. Founded by CEO Mario Candela, the AI-native platform operates on an "assumed breach" model, deploying LLM-powered decoy traps across servers, APIs, and cloud infrastructure to ensnare AI-driven threats. Its platform combines offensive attack simulations (Arcangelo), defensive deceptive traps (Beelzebub Managed), and automated, on-premises malware reverse-engineering (Caronte) to isolate and neutralize attackers in real time. Beelzebub will use the fresh capital to expand its research team, develop security protections for AI agents, acquire NIS2-regulated enterprise clients across Europe, and establish new commercial offices in Rome and San Francisco by the end of the year.
