Boardy AI, an AI-driven networking platform, has raised an $8 million seed round led by Creandum, just months after closing a $3 million pre-seed. The startup uses AI agents to chat briefly with users before connecting them to others they should meet, aiming to facilitate meaningful professional connections. Since its October launch, Boardy has made over 10,000 calls, leading to over 9,000 successful matches and fostering partnerships and investments for startups. Co-founder and CEO Andrew D’Souza highlighted that many investors initiated contact after experiencing the platform firsthand.
