Buddy.ai is a new way for children to learn a second language; despite challenges with regulatory hurdles like COPA and diverse dialect recognition, Buddy.ai has gained traction, boasting 55 million downloads and 22 million annual users. The company recently closed an $11 million seed round, led by BITKRAFT Ventures, which founder, Ivan Crewkov sees as the ideal partner given their gaming expertise. Crewkov’s vision for Buddy.ai includes expanding language offerings, integrating more with schools, and hiring experts in game and UX design to make learning English fun and effective for children worldwide.
