BuildOps, a startup modernizing commercial contracting through AI-powered field service management software, has raised a $127M Series C round led by Meritech Capital at a $1B valuationāmore than double its last round. The company, which serves HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety contractors, has over 1,000 customers and has seen rapid revenue growth since launching in 2020. While not yet profitable, BuildOps is focusing on scaling, product development, and potential acquisitions. With backing from Bond Capital, Schneider Electricās SE Ventures, and others, the company is expanding its workforce and enhancing its API architecture.
