📝 Buildots raises $45M
News of the Day
Buildots, a Chicago-based startup using AI and computer vision to track construction progress, has raised $45 million in a Series D round led by Qumra Capital, bringing its total funding to $166 million. Founded in 2018, Buildots equips managers with 360-degree helmet-mounted cameras to capture site data, enabling real-time project tracking, predictive delay alerts, and chatbot-powered updates. With clients like Intel and 50+ construction firms, the company plans to expand its product across more phases of the construction lifecycle and grow its R&D and North American operations. CEO Roy Danon says the funding validates market demand for AI-driven construction management.
