Middle Eastern startup Calo has raised $25 million in Series B funding to expand its personalized ready-to-eat meal delivery service, targeting niche dietary needs such as weight loss, muscle gain, and health conditions like IBS and PCOS. Operating in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other Gulf markets, the Riyadh-based company plans to enhance customization options, introduce retail kiosks, and enter the U.K. through an acquisition, all while nearing profitability. With a $250 million valuation and nine figures in annualized revenue, Calo aims to go public within a few years, betting on the region's growing appetite for tailored convenience.
