Apple has resumed selling its Series 9 and Ultra 2 Apple Watches, following a temporary import ban due to a patent infringement dispute with Masimo. Apple's claim that its redesigned watches lack pulse oximetry functionality was acknowledged by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, allowing the tech giant to circumvent the ban. Masimo, which accused Apple of misappropriating its technology, views this development as a step towards accountability. The Federal Circuit is still considering the ban's future status, which depends on the redesign's conformity to patent regulations.
