News of the Day

Delfos Energy has secured $3.3 million in a Seed extension round, bringing its total funding to $11.1 million as it prepares for a Series A in the next 12 to 18 months. The company’s "virtual engineer" platform uses a two-layer AI system to monitor over 1,000 renewable energy sites across 10 European countries, translating complex sensor data into actionable maintenance priorities for lean operations teams. By combining proprietary machine learning with natural-language interfaces like WhatsApp, Delfos allows technicians to query asset health in plain language, effectively scaling the knowledge of senior engineers to prevent early-stage failures in wind, solar, and emerging energy storage infrastructure. With Europe projected to account for nearly 40% of global revenues this year, the firm plans to use the capital to consolidate its European presence before an anticipated expansion into the United States market.
