๐ DevAlly raises $2.3M
News of the Day
Irish startup DevAlly has raised $2.3 million in pre-seed funding led by Belgian fund Miles Ahead Capital, with participation from NDRC, Enterprise Ireland, and European angels, to help businesses comply with the EUโs new accessibility standards under the European Accessibility Act (EAA). Launched in 2024 by Cormac Chisholm, DevAlly uses AI and accessibility LLMs to detect barriers on websites, apps, and e-commerce platforms, automate testing, track customer-reported issues, and integrate fixes into the product development lifecycle, offering a scalable alternative to human audits. With existing traction in Europe and plans to launch U.S. operations starting in San Francisco, the startup aims to help companies meet regulatory requirements, improve usability, and tap into the $8 trillion market of disabled consumers, while expanding its team from five to 15 by year-end.
