Clelia Warburg Peters, former Bain Capital Ventures partner, launched her own proptech firm, Era Ventures, raising $88 million for its first fund. Era Ventures invests in transformative real estate technologies, targeting startups from seed to Series B. Peters, who co-founded MetaProp and coined the term "proptech," seeks to invest in companies that could challenge traditional real estate players. Era Ventures aims for top-tier financial returns and has already backed 10 startups, including Honey Homes and Truehold. The firm is co-run by construction investor Raja Ghawi.
