Filtrabit, a Finnish startup specializing in industrial-scale dust control, has secured a $2.35 million funding commitment from Ajanta Innovations 2 Ky to fuel its 2026 international expansion. Founded in 2011, the company uses a patented flow-dynamic separation technology to extract microparticles from industrial gas streams without the clogging risks of traditional bag filters, enabling heavy industries such as steel and mining to recycle valuable raw materials. By offering these modular, portable units through an operating lease model, Filtrabit allows companies to bypass massive capital expenditures and building permit hurdles, with a primary focus on scaling deployments across the Nordics, Central Europe, and India following a successful pilot at Outokumpu’s Tornio site.
