📝 Fisent raises $4.3M

News of the Day

Toronto-based enterprise AI startup Fisent Technologies announced on Tuesday that it raised $4.3 million in an all-equity primary seed round led by U.S. fintech venture firm FINTOP, bringing its total funding to $6.3 million following an earlier $2 million strategic raise from Pega. Founded in 2021 by CEO Adrian Murray, the 16-person company provides a software automation platform that helps large enterprises in highly regulated sectors—such as healthcare, banking, and wealth management—automate knowledge work while offering a trust layer equipped with confidence scoring and output citations. Driven by an economy-wide surge in AI adoption, Fisent reported that its revenue grew over 200% in 2025 alongside landing a Fortune 50 client. Fisent plans to deploy the new capital to expand its go-to-market team, accelerate product development, and boost its deployment engineering capabilities to support complex enterprise rollouts, with FINTOP partner John Philpott joining the company's board of directors as part of the transaction.
