📝 Flexzo AI raises $12M
News of the Day
UK-based startup Flexzo AI has secured a $12 million Series A funding round led by Octopus Ventures to scale its "agentic AI" workforce platform across the NHS and into the United States market. Founded in 2023 by CEO Jack Henderson—formerly of Healsgood AI—the company aims to eliminate traditional recruitment fees and reduce reliance on expensive staffing agencies by providing a subscription-based model that directly connects hospitals to a national pool of pre-verified clinicians. The platform utilizes an AI-driven matching engine to automatically identify staffing gaps, validate real-time compliance, and route demand to the most cost-effective personnel, a system the company claims has already slashed agency spending by up to 85% at partner sites. With the appointment of Professor Rupert Shute as Non-Executive Chairman and new board members from Fuel Ventures, Flexzo plans to use the capital to enhance its implementation capacity for its growing roster of American healthcare clients and further develop models for complex clinical settings.
