Led by Soulmates Ventures and supported by IndieBio New York, the investment arrives as the pharmaceutical industry faces a staggering 90% failure rate for drug candidates, largely due to the inability of traditional 2D cell cultures and animal models to accurately mimic human systemic responses. FluoSphera’s patented technology overcomes these hurdles by "multiplexing" up to seven human tissue models within a single culture well, using proprietary fluorescent coding to distinguish and track individual organoids as they interact.
