Grace, a startup offering embedded insurance for luxury goods, announced a $6.4 million seed round led by FinTech Collective and Speedinvest to expand its app-based protection service across Europe. Co-founded by Lou Dana, Quentin Roy, and Martin Lenweiter, Grace partners with luxury brands to offer theft and damage coverage, fraud detection, and claims logistics, with underwriting support from Chubb. Amid rising thefts and gaps in post-purchase care, the company positions itself as a brand enhancer rather than just an insurer. With backing from Kima, Bpifrance, and Firstminute Capital, Grace aims to cover 200,000 luxury items by year-end.
