News of the Day
Gravitee, an API management platform, has raised $60 million in a Series C round led by Sixth Street Growth, pushing its total funding to over $125 million. CEO Rory Blundell says the funds will support product development and international expansion as companies increasingly integrate AI agents, streaming data, and hybrid systems. Gravitee, which began as an open source project in 2015, offers a flexible deployment model and supports both synchronous and asynchronous APIsāsomething Blundell says sets it apart from rivals like Blobr and StepZen. The company reported $22 million in ARR for 2024 and plans to grow its team from 130 to 200 by year-end.

One topic that came up: Just-In-Time Software
Codex and codegen tools are so good, and people are only now getting to use highly capable agents with reasoning and long context
In the future we might prefer custom software artifacts made by agents just-in-time when you need it
