News of the Day

Two ex-Big Tech developers, Max Brodeur-Urbas and Rahul Behal, founded Gumloop, a startup aimed at using AI to automate repetitive business workflows reliably and affordably. Frustrated by the limitations and costs of existing AI automation tools, they focused on narrower, high-value applications where precision is critical. Gumloop started as a side project to help nontechnical Discord users but quickly grew into a platform now used by teams at Instacart and Rippling. With a drag-and-drop workflow builder integrating tools like GitHub, Gmail, and Outlook, Gumloop empowers users to create automations without technical expertise. After raising $17 million in a Series A round, the company plans to maintain a lean 10-person team while scaling its product, with aspirations of becoming a billion-dollar enterprise.
