📝 InsideDesk raises $12.6M

News of the Day

Toronto-based dental technology startup InsideDesk has secured $12.6 million in growth financing to accelerate the development of its AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) platform. The funding round was led by Vancouver-based healthtech and B2B investor Pender Ventures, with participation from existing Toronto backers Round13 Capital and Graphite Ventures. InsideDesk, founded in 2018 by CEO Paul Chen, develops software specifically for Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) to automate the labour-intensive process of submitting claims, tracking receivables, and collecting insurance payouts. By leveraging artificial intelligence to handle repetitive administrative tasks and claims tracking, the platform helps fast-growing DSOs reduce billing bottlenecks and speed up collections. The 36-person startup plans to use the capital to expand its engineering, AI, and go-to-market teams, building on commercial validation from major customers like MB2 Dental.

Business Owners: Earn Unlimited Cash Back and a $1000 Welcome Bonus

Every month you put business expenses on a card with no cash back, that's money left on the table. This card flips that script — apply and if you get approved, hit a spending threshold within the set timeframe, and earn a $1000 welcome bonus on top of unlimited cash back on everything you buy, no caps, no categories to track. Throw in a $0 annual fee and free cards for your employees, and it's one less thing costing you money without you realizing it. FinanceBuzz experts pointed this one out for exactly that reason.
