📝 Katz-Moses Raises
News of the Day
Katz-Moses Tools, the woodworking brand founded by YouTuber Jonathan Katz-Moses, has secured funding from Slow Ventures after a decade of bootstrapped growth, aiming to accelerate product launches, expand its 33,000-square-foot manufacturing operation, and scale educational content. Katz-Moses built his multi-million-dollar business by turning YouTube feedback into patented, best-selling tools like the Magnetic Dovetail Jig and Jigsquare, while leveraging his in-house manufacturing and logistics to support other creators’ product lines. With over 100 products, a loyal woodworking community, and a track record of creator collaborations generating seven-figure sales, the company plans to roll out 30 new products, grow its team, and sponsor major events like the Texas Woodworking Festival — all while keeping creative and operational control firmly in Katz-Moses’s hands.
If you’re ambitious, expect to outgrow people. Some will resent you for it. That’s fine — you weren’t building your life to fit inside theirs.
