The platform addresses a critical bottleneck in regional healthcare where patients demand 24/7 direct WhatsApp access to doctors, often leading to extreme professional burnout; by integrating with a physician’s existing WhatsApp account, Leona’s mobile app automatically prioritizes urgent medical inquiries, suggests responses, and enables administrative staff to handle routine tasks like scheduling and billing, reportedly saving doctors two to three hours daily and expanding its reach to 14 countries across 22 medical specialties.
