📝 Élisa Interactive raises $875k

News of the Day

MontrĂ©al-based startup Élisa Interactive, established by the father-and-son team of François and Julien BĂ©langer, has secured $875,000 in pre-seed financing to democratize video game level design for non-programmers. Supported by backers including AQC Capital, Anges QuĂ©bec, and Investissement QuĂ©bec’s EurĂȘka Fund, the studio is developing an artificial intelligence platform called Me-Z-Scene, which acts like a digital construction set by automatically placing and arranging existing 3D elements based on text instructions. Originally designed as a productivity shortcut for professional game studios, the technology shifted its focus toward everyday players after the founders recognized the vast potential in consumer creation, targeting Roblox’s massive base of 151 million daily active users before a planned commercial launch this autumn.
