📝 Maket raised $3.4M CAD
News of the Day
Montréal-based Maket has raised $3.4 million CAD in seed funding to advance its AI-powered architecture platform, which already boasts over 1 million registered users and plans to launch its 2.0 version in early 2026. Founded by Patrick Murphy, Stéphane Turbide, and serial entrepreneur Simon Vallee, Maket uses AI to automate the early stages of residential design—letting architects, builders, and homeowners quickly generate, iterate, and visualize floor plans without needing traditional CAD expertise. The platform’s upcoming version will introduce more flexible floor plan generation, high-quality visual renders, and eventually expand into zoning verification, HVAC planning, and material takeoffs, moving toward a full end-to-end building solution. The round, led by Amiral Ventures with participation from Blitzscaling Ventures, BY Venture Partners, Hidden Layers, and Spatial Capital, reflects growing investor confidence in Maket’s mission to democratize architecture and make design faster, smarter, and more accessible to everyone.
