Skylight, a TikTok alternative built on the AT Protocol, is launching publicly after just 10 weeks of development, backed by Mark Cuban and Graham & Walker. Co-founded by ex-travel influencer Tori White and Reed Hermeyer, the app integrates with Bluesky’s 33.8 million users, allowing cross-platform engagement. White, who documented Skylight’s creation on TikTok, grew a 50,000-follower base that helped drive early adoption. Unlike TikTok, Skylight aims to be "ban-proof" and promises future features like customizable feeds, new gestures, and support for sounds, duets, and playlists. Now available on iOS and in beta on Android.
