This collaboration, part of Match's over $20 million investment in AI for 2024, will see ChatGPT-4 assist with coding, design, analysis, and communications among other daily tasks. The announcement, uniquely co-written with ChatGPT, highlighted the enthusiasm for this integration, albeit with some overly enthusiastic and quirky language. Match Group plans to use AI to enhance profile quality, discoverability, matching, and safety on its platforms. The initiative includes mandatory training for Match employees on responsible AI use, aligning with the company's privacy practices and AI principles. This move signals Match Group's belief in AI's pivotal role in evolving dating apps and possibly creating new AI-powered products.
