Meta has acquired the domain Threads.com, as confirmed by Whois records updated on September 24. Previously owned by a startup offering a Slack alternative, Threads.com was sold to Shopify earlier this year. Meta initially launched its Threads social network on Threads.net, but may now shift to Threads.com. Meta has not yet commented on its future plans for the domain, which saw increased interest following the social network’s launch and has grown to over 200 million users.
