MiLaboratories, a startup based in San Francisco with an R&D facility in Spain, is building a computational biology platform that helps biologists analyze genomic data more easily, with tools like data visualization and generative AI. The platform also serves as a marketplace for apps developed by bioinformaticians. Recently, MiLaboratories secured $10 million in Series A funding to continue developing its platform and engaging the scientific community. The company’s software is designed for ease of use and is already popular with major pharmaceutical companies like Moderna and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
