News of the Day

AI startup Modem has successfully secured $4.4 million in a pre-seed equity round led by Silicon Valley powerhouse Accel to scale its intelligent product management platform. Founded by former Sentry VP of Engineering Ben Vinegar, the company is developing an "agentic" AI solution designed to streamline developer workflows by automating bug triage and curating support tickets, effectively eliminating the "game of telephone" that often dilutes critical user feedback. The round saw participation from Montréal’s Inovia Capital and a group of high-profile tech veterans, including Cohere co-founder Ivan Zhang and Sentry co-founders David Cramer and Chris Jennings.
