📝 Moss raises $34.5M
News of the Day
Berlin-based spend management platform Moss achieved unicorn status after securing a $34.5 million Series C funding round at a valuation exceeding $1 billion with the investment led by Portage alongside existing investor Cherry Ventures. Founded in 2019, the fintech startup provides an all-in-one financial management system—combining corporate cards, invoice management, reimbursements, real-time budgets, and automated accounting integrations with ERPs like DATEV and Xero—and currently generates over $80.5 million in annual recurring revenue across more than 5,000 corporate clients in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Austria. The BaFin-regulated company plans to use the capital to expand beyond traditional spend management by building out a customizable "Finance AI" product suite that deploys configurable AI agents for automated accounting workflows while preserving strict human oversight and user control over final execution steps.
