📝 NationGraph raises $18M
News of the Day
NationGraph, a Canadian-founded startup based in Toronto, San Francisco, and Miami, has secured an $18 million in Series A funding to dismantle the barriers of the opaque US government procurement market. Led by Menlo Ventures—a major backer of Anthropic and Uber—the round closed in late 2025 and positions NationGraph as a leader in "AI-native" business intelligence. Co-founders Kimia Hamidi and Eden Ding are leveraging their backgrounds in quantitative finance and price intelligence to build a platform that crawls through thousands of fragmented sources, including meeting minutes and budget documents, to surface high-intent sales data for vendors. By automating the extraction of key contacts and historical purchasing patterns across 90,000 US government entities, the 20-person team aims to give mid-market vendors the research power of a global enterprise while keeping an expansion into the Canadian procurement market firmly on their 2026 roadmap.
