News of the Day

AI-powered marketing platform Nectar Social announced a $30 million Series A funding round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthropic-backed Anthology Fund, with participation from GV, True Ventures, and Gwyneth Paltrowโ€™s Kinship Ventures. Founded by former Meta employees and sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, the startup operates an agentic operating system designed to automate end-to-end marketing workflows, including creator management, social moderation, and commerce interactions. By leveraging proprietary data partnerships with major platforms like Meta and Reddit, Nectar consolidates multi-channel brand analytics into a single interface, solving a critical scalability issue for enterprise clients such as Figma, Liquid Death, and e.l.f. Beauty. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the company's workforce across engineering, applied artificial intelligence, and go-to-market strategies as it seeks to capitalize on the growing shift in consumer commerce to social channels.
