News of the Day

MedReddie, a Saint John, New Brunswick-based digital platform founded by former healthcare procurement specialist Kara LeBlanc, has secured over $2 million. The funding will help accelerate the international expansion of its solution, which centralizes and simplifies the complex, high-stakes process of acquiring medical technology. The platform combats "information overload" by providing healthcare procurement teams, including those at Canadaโ€™s largest GPO HealthPRO, with a structured, centralized view of vendor data, regulatory compliance, and performance metrics, thereby reducing the time required to generate sourcing documents like RFPs from months to minutes, as MedReddie prepares to enter the European and Mexican markets, armed with investment from the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF).
