📝 Oura Ring valued at $5B

News of the Day

Oura, the smart ring maker valued at over $5 billion, has secured a $75 million investment from Dexcom, a leader in glucose monitoring devices, during its Series D funding round. The partnership aims to integrate Oura’s biometric insights with Dexcom’s glucose monitoring, enabling users to better understand how factors like diet, sleep, and activity impact their health. The collaboration will launch its first app integration in early 2025 and includes co-marketing efforts. This move positions both companies against tech giants like Apple, which is reportedly exploring noninvasive glucose monitoring technology for future products.
