📝 Partage Club raises $1.5M
News of the Day
Montréal-based Partage Club has raised $1.5 million in seed funding to expand its community item-lending platform across Canada and into international markets, doubling its team and adding new AI-powered, gamified features. Founded by Fauve Doucet after realizing how much unnecessary stuff clutters modern life, the startup has grown from a neighbourly bike-sharing idea into a profitable “no-selling” marketplace with hundreds of users, more than a dozen municipal partnerships, and a model that helps cities, property managers, and institutions reduce waste and strengthen local connections. Backed by investors including Frédéric Bastien, BDC Thrive Lab, Desjardins’s Startup in Residence, and Mistral Ventures, Partage Club cites research showing that each shared item saves users money and reduces waste—an appealing pitch in a world drowning in overconsumption, and one Doucet believes offers a more human-centric alternative to AI-driven shopping.
