PrettyDamnQuick (PDQ), a New York-based startup empowering independent e-commerce retailers to offer Amazon-like checkout and shipping experiences, has secured $25 million in Series A funding, bringing its total raised to $38 million. With 200 customers processing 30 million orders monthly via PDQ’s platform, the company plans to expand beyond Shopify integration and enhance its suite of tools, including personalized checkouts, A/B testing, and fulfillment orchestration. CEO Avi Moskowitz, inspired by challenges faced during the COVID-19 boom with his craft brewing business, aims to enable retailers to compete with marketplace giants like Amazon while retaining independence.
