Primogene has closed a $4.8 million Seed round to scale its enzymatic biomanufacturing platform. Led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), the funding will be used to expand the company’s production facility in Leipzig, grow its team, and accelerate the industrial rollout of its high-value biomolecules. Primogene targets the infant nutrition, personal care, and pharmaceutical sectors, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional fermentation-based manufacturing.
