📝 Quartr raises $18M

News of the Day

Stockholm-based investor relations data provider Quartr secured $18 million in new funding to accelerate product development and expand its primary-source financial data coverage worldwide. Led by existing backer Altos Ventures, which becomes Quartr's largest shareholder, and with participation from the Swedish financial group SEB, the round follows a €5.4 million investment in 2024. Founded in 2020 by Oscar Küntzel, David Dag, Oliver Hamrin, and Sami Osman, Quartr acts as foundational AI infrastructure for company research by aggregating real-time investor relations materials, such as live earnings audio, transcripts, regulatory filings, and slide decks, across more than 15,000 public companies in over 65 markets. The company delivers this structured data through Quartr Pro, an AI-powered research interface that cites source documents directly in its answers, and the Quartr API, a data pipeline that feeds institutional AI models and financial platforms. Reporting triple-digit revenue growth, a net revenue retention rate near 120%, and a client base exceeding 800 financial institutions, including four of the world's five largest hedge funds, Quartr plans to use the capital to expand its data coverage and maintain its lead as demand for AI-ready primary financial data accelerates.
