Jacob Jackson, co-founder of Tabnine, has launched a new AI coding platform called Supermaven. With its proprietary model "Babble" and a large 1 million-token context window, Supermaven aims to streamline developer workflows by reducing errors and latency. Despite competition, Supermavenā€™s unique features, including faster processing and in-house infrastructure, have attracted over 35,000 users and $12 million in funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and angel investors. Jackson plans to expand the team and develop the platformā€™s text editor as the market for AI coding tools continues to grow.
