Jacob Jackson, co-founder of Tabnine, has launched a new AI coding platform called Supermaven. With its proprietary model "Babble" and a large 1 million-token context window, Supermaven aims to streamline developer workflows by reducing errors and latency. Despite competition, Supermaven’s unique features, including faster processing and in-house infrastructure, have attracted over 35,000 users and $12 million in funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and angel investors. Jackson plans to expand the team and develop the platform’s text editor as the market for AI coding tools continues to grow.
