📝 VC Firm CRV Raises $750M Fund
News of the Day
CRV has raised $750 million for its 20th flagship fund, significantly smaller than its $1 billion early-stage fund from 2022. The firm, which also returned $275 million of its $500 million Select late-stage fund to investors last year, said it won’t pursue another late-stage vehicle due to concerns about returns. Despite the downsizing, CRV said it raised the new fund in just four weeks with demand far exceeding the target. The 55-year-old venture firm will focus the fund on seed and Series A rounds in consumer and developer tools startups, continuing a track record that includes early bets on DoorDash, Mercury, and Vercel.
The psychology of high achievement:
Average achievers set goals and hope they happen. High achievers set goals and architect the conditions that make them inevitable.
Hope is not a strategy. Architecture is.
