News of the Day

Montréal-based industrial scaleup Vention has secured a $110-million Series D funding round, marking its official ascent into the elite tier of "physical AI" leaders as it surpasses a $70-million annual run rate. Led by Investissement Québec with high-profile backing from Nvidia’s venture arm (NVentures), the capital injection is designed to eliminate the "integration tax" that has historically crippled manufacturing automation for everyone but the world's largest firms. By combining generative AI with a modular, robot-agnostic ecosystem, Vention allows companies like Boeing, L'Oréal, and Lockheed Martin to design and deploy complex robot workstations in days rather than months. With over 25,000 machines already operating across 4,000 factories, the company is now doubling down on its Zero-Shot Automation™ paradigm, aiming to become the default global standard for manufacturing by making industrial robotics as intuitive and scalable as modern SaaS platforms.
