📝 Xeltis raises $23.5M
News of the Day
Dutch MedTech company Xeltis has raised $23.5 million in a new financing round led by Horizon 3 Healthcare, with participation from the European Innovation Council, Invest-NL, VI Partners, EQT Life Sciences, and DaVita. Building on its proprietary Restorex platform, which utilizes bioabsorbable polymer implants that naturally turn into living tissue, Xeltis will use the funds to advance its commercial rollout in Europe following the CE Mark approval and first commercial patient treatment for its aXess hemodialysis vessel. Additionally, the capital will support manufacturing expansion, clinical programs for its XABG and XPAD pipelines, and completion of its U.S. pivotal trial for aXess, which is over 50% enrolled, as it prepares for FDA submission and a U.S. market launch.
