📝 YC Expanding to 4 cohorts per year

Y Combinator plans to increase the number of cohorts it runs annually from two to four starting in 2025. Despite this change, the overall number of companies in the accelerator program each year will remain roughly the same, meaning each cohort will be smaller. YC president Garry Tan noted that the additional cohorts will offer investors more opportunities to engage with startups through increased demo days.
